Undergraduate Xiaoyu Du Approved for the Beijing Natural Science Foundation Undergraduate Qiyan Program (本科生杜箫宇获批北京市自然科学基金本科生“启研”计划)
Undergraduate student Xiaoyu Du has been approved for the Beijing Natural Science Foundation Undergraduate Qiyan Program. The project is titled “Characterizing Cognitive Impairment in Traumatic Brain Injury Using Multimodal Imaging and Investigating Its Biomechanical Mechanisms.”
This project focuses on the challenge of individualized characterization of cognitive impairment in mild traumatic brain injury. It will combine multimodal imaging to construct functional and structural brain networks, use their decoupling patterns for longitudinal assessment after head impacts in football and boxing athletes, and further integrate instrumented mouthguard measurements and brain mechanics models to build an aligned database of cognitive impairment markers and mechanical loading for deep-learning-based biomechanical prediction.
本科生杜箫宇获批北京市自然科学基金本科生“启研”计划,课题题目为“基于多模态影像的创伤性脑损伤认知损伤表征及损伤生物力学机制研究”。
该课题聚焦轻度创伤性脑损伤中认知损伤难以个体化表征的问题,拟结合多模态影像构建功能脑网络与结构脑网络,并通过二者解耦程度开展足球、拳击运动员头部冲击后的纵向评估。项目还将结合课题组传感牙套与大脑力学模型,建立认知损伤表征与力学载荷对齐的数据库,并发展深度学习生物力学模型以揭示认知损伤机制。
